The fans were already given the announcements on the products they all wanted, and a third Diablo product, which is arriving on a different platform is not something that will affect those games. However, seeing the rude comments about the game, makes me quite sad, as the developers (who are actually NetEase, not Blizzard Entertainment) seem to be passionate about it. I'm not sure if the game will become a quality product, I have personally not played it and we're still quite far away from the release date to judge. Which brings me to my last point, why the hate for Diablo: Immortal is not reasonable. I think a lot of players should change their view on mobile games, as they're not all so bad, despite the common misconception. I've personally sunk a lot of time into Legends of Runeterra and Genshin Impact, usually when I'm too exhausted to play games on my PC, but not tired enough to go to sleep. Diablo: Immortal and "Good" Mobile GamesĪs stated earlier, there are lots of good quality games on the mobile game stores, they are just tricky to find due to the nature of the store. There are many ways the current mobile game stores could be improved, however, I will leave this for another article. This actually has managed to shift the public opinion to think about mobile games as those quickly churned out products with little premise of being a good game.

Because of the store being filtered in this way, games who maybe not have as many weekly downloads, but instead have a playerbase who dedicates a lot of time, and sometimes even money into them, are not easily spotted in the store. Judging from experience with my younger siblings, they will often download the game thanks to its (marketed towards them) simple imagery, play it for, perhaps 15 minutes, and not turn it on again. A lot of the games presented above are in the top section thanks to being downloaded by lots and lots of kids, rather than thanks to being a quality game.
